Everyone has heard of offset accounts but most really don’t know how they work.

✅ Loan Repayments: Principle and Interest

In the last couple of decades, I would say this is the most preferred way to paying off debt.
Ever seen those ads where they tell you that you can pay off your home loan in 7-10 years?
The strategy is to buy investment properties and sell them when they double in 7-10 years.
This strategy can work. However quite often you’re not told of the risks.
Firstly, you’re taking on more debt which makes it harder to pay back your loan.
Secondly, what if you buy a dud property or the market just doesn’t perform the same as it has for a decade.
